Hanging on a cross is a death sentence. This form of punishment was a very slow, excruciating method of carrying out capital punishment. Only criminals experienced this form of execution. For Jesus, his punishment was even more severe.How could the God of the entire universe everbe placed in a situation where he would haveto go through something like this and Why?
As you reflect on your life, do you feel empty inside? You know something is missing but you just can’t put your finger on it. You continue to wonder; is this all there is to life? Is there any meaning? Is there something better? Why am I here and what is my purpose? That’s why we need God. God gives his people many promises, and we can hold on to those promises.
